Gluer Operator
ESSENTIAL JOB TASKS:
- Review work order, gluing requirements and job specifics to determine components, settings and adjustments for the gluer/folder machine.
- Adjust machine components according to requirements such as widths, lengths and thickness of materials and amounts of glue.
- Monitor the operators of the glue machinery and ensure that the products processed confer to client specifications.
- Examine finished products to ensure finalized sample meets job order requirements.
- Monitor inventory for glue and tags.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks of cleaning and lubricating.
- Enter accurate job data such as entering counts, quality records and inventory.
