Description
The Press Operator is responsible for producing all offset press projects in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures. The Press Operator should strive every day to achieve optimal productivity. The Press Operator will perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment when instructed to keep equipment running efficiently. The Press Operator should be a self-motivator to ensure the company meets customer expectations.

Skill Requirements
Operate offset presses to produce to produce quality projects for the customer.
Perform all press operator functions as noted on the work order/job tickets.
Operate plate makers to produce optimum quality.
Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment; be familiar with Material Safety Data Sheets regarding chemicals used.
Complete job tickets as required.
Qualifications Required
High school or GED equivalent.
Vocational/technical degree in graphic arts is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of press experience for a 4-color offset press with a sheet size of 19x25 or larger.
Requires good mathematical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Able to apply written instructions to machine set-up and maintenance.
Thorough knowledge of problem solving on press.
Meet or exceed minimum test results as designated by hiring manager.
Educational Requirements
